Lebanon’s Public Procurement Reform Strategy was approved by the Council of Ministers by Decision no. 66 of May 20.

This strategy recalls the reform needs in public procurement, states the objectives to be achieved in this respect, and sets out a schedule of measures to be taken for this purpose. It is based on the outcomes of the MAPS assessment published in March 2022, and the provisions of the Public Procurement Law no. 244/2021 that enters into force on July 29, 2022. 

أقرّ مجلس الوزراء الاستراتيجية الوطنية لإصلاح الشراء العام (قرار رقم 66، تاريخ 20 أيار 2022).

تحدّد هذه الوثيقة التوجهات الاستراتيجية للحكومة اللبنانية لتحقيق منظومة الشراء العام حديثة ومتكاملة، وتتضمن خطة عمل تنفيذية تشمل الجوانب المتعددة للإصلاح على المستوى القانوني والمؤسسي والاجرائي. تستند الاستراتيجية إلى نتائج وتوصيات تقرير مسح  MAPS الذي نُشر في أذار 2022، وإلى أحكام قانون الشراء العام 244/2021 الذي يدخل حيّز التنفيذ في 29 تموز 2022.
