Nayla is a professor of Education and French Literature at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut.

She supported the education of children with cancer in Lebanon by leading, for the NGO Myschoolpulse, a project of an e-learning platform that helps diagnosed children keep up with school.

She also found the Lebanese Alternative Learning Initiative.

She holds a PhD in French Literature.
