Sarah Hermez graduated with a double major in Fashion Design from Parsons, School for Design and in Media and Culture studies from Eugene Lang, School for Liberal Arts. 
There, she met her professor and mentor Caroline Simonelli and together they founded Creative Space Beirut. Soon after, co-founders George Rouhana and Tracy Moussi joined the mission, and together they developed the organization into a social enterprise.
