The year 2011 witnessed important political developments which altered the institutional scene in the countries of the region. Moreover, the world economy suffered multiple crises which left their direct and indirect impact on Lebanon, adding new challenges to the economic and political situation. These developments obliged the public training institutes to reassess their roles. 
We, at the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan, were not removed from these developments. However, it took a lot of creative vision from the team to develop a realistic approach and a future plan amid the various strategic, financial and human resources challenges of 2011 . Despite all these challenges, 2011 marked the celebration of the Institute’s fifteenth anniversary, and was noticeable for its achievements in the managerial, training and publishing fields.

حفلَ عام 2011 بتطورات سياسيّة كبيرة غيّرت المشهد المؤسساتي في دول المنطقة. وشهدَ الاقتصاد العالمي أزمات عدّة ألقت بتبعاتها المباشرة وغير المباشرة على لبنان فأضافت إلى الوضعين الاقتصادي والسياسي تحديّات جديدة.فرضت هذه التطورات على معاهد التدريب الحكومي إعادة النظر بدورها. \r\nلم نكن في معهد باسل فليحان المالي والاقتصادي، بمنأى عن هذه التطورات، علما أن التحدّيات التي واجهت معهدنا عام 2011، تشعّبت وكانت ذات طبيعة إستراتيجية وماليّة وبشريّة تطلّبت من فريق العمل تفكيراً مبتكراً في مقاربة الواقع وفي التخطيط للمستقبل. لكن، رغم ذلك، عام 2011، كان العام الخامس عشر من عمر المعهد، وقد حفل بالإنجازات المؤسسيّة والتدريبيّة والنشريّة.\r\nلمزيد من المعلومات يمكنكم تحميل النسخة الكاملة من التقرير السنوي لعام 2011.

L'année 2011 s’est ouverte par une série de mouvements contestataires et de développements politiques et de graves crises d’ordre économique, affectant les secteurs financiers, les investissements, les dettes occidentales et la croissance mondiale. L’ensemble de la conjoncture a imposé aux centres de formation gouvernementaux la remise en question de leur rôle. L'Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan dut concentrer sa réflexion d'une part, sur une approche pratique des réalités du terrain et de l'autre, sur une planification innovatrice pour l'avenir. Parallèlement, l’Institut devait également célébrer le quinzième anniversaire de sa création. Cet événement a pu, malgré tout, être couronné de réussites institutionnelles ainsi que dans les domaines de la formation et des publications.
