Jihan Seoud is an environmental expert working for the Energy and Environment Programme at the United Nations Development Programme in Lebanon.

The projects UNDP works on in Lebanon include solid waste management, sustainable energy and climate change, conservation of natural resources and environmental policy initiatives.  
 
She holds a bachelor degree in Environmental Health from the American University of Beirut and a graduate degree in Environmental Science and Technology from UNESCO-IHE in Delft, The Netherlands.
