In 2014, the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan succeeded in weaving closer cooperation initiatives with training centers of the National Training Network and in strengthening our relationships with partners and international organizations. Together, we have succeeded in establishing a vibrant platform for discussing the administration’s concerns and for knowledge exchange and learning. In 2014, we have chosen, supported by the Minister of Finance, the slogan “promoting integrity and anti-corruption” as the main title for our upcoming projects. The year 2014 was also marked by the publishing of the 5th issue of Assadissa, focusing on the management of oil and gas sector. IoF also published the booklet “The Lebanese and Money” based on the results of a national survey and pinpointing the strengths and weaknesses of the Lebanese regarding the financial management of their private and public money. 

انطلاقاً من قناعتنا أنه بالانفتاح على الآخر وبالتآزر والتنوّع نستطيع أن نحوّل نقاط الضعف إلى نقاط قوّة، اخترنا أن نجتهد خلال العام 2014 للحفاظ على الاستقرار، وببساطة، للمثابرة على العمل الجيّد. واستطعنا بالتالي أن ننسج مبادرات تعاون وثيقة مع مراكز التدريب المنضوية ضمن الشبكة الوطنية للتدريب، وأن نمتّن علاقاتنا مع الشركاء والمؤسسات الدولية، فشكلنا، مع بعضنا البعض، مساحة تنبض بهواجس الإدارة وتتبادل المعرفة والتعلّم. كما اخترنا أن نجعل من "تعزيز النزاهة ومكافحة الفساد" العنوان الأكبر لمشاريعنا بدعم ورعاية من وزير المالية. أمّا على صعيد الإنتاج النشري والعلمي تميّز عام 2014 بإصدار جديد من مجلة "السادسة" حول النفط وكذلك بإصدار كتيّب "اللبنانيون والمال" الذي يحدّد، وفقاً لنتائج مسح وطني، نقاط القوّة والضعف في علاقة اللبنانيين بأموالهم الخاصة والعامّة.

En 2014, l'Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan a étroitement coopéré avec les autres prestataires de services de formation dans le secteur public, et a consolidé ses partenariats avec les organisations internationales. Ensemble, nous avons réussi à établir une plate-forme de réflexion sur nos réoccupations, nos défis et notre apprentissage. Le grand thème qui a marqué les activités de 2014 fut “promouvoir l’intégrité et la lutte contre la corruption”, avec le soutien et le parrainage du Ministre des Finances. Quant aux recherches et publications, une nouvelle édition du journal “Assadissa” a été publiée sur le thème du pétrole ainsi qu’un livret intitulé: “Les Libanais et l’Argent” qui décrit les points forts et les faiblesses caractérisant la relation des Libanais vis-à-vis de leurs fonds privés et publics.
