The purpose of the current report is to present and capture the lessons learned and recommendations resulting from two days of active dialogue and fruitful exchange during the annual conference on “Rethinking Training on the Public Sector” held in Beirut on the 16th and 17th of November 2011. These conference proceedings shed light on new policy orientations and shares ideas to move towards demand-driven training and enhance capacity development in the MENA region.

يعرض هذا التقرير للتوصيات التي جرى التوصّل إليها خلال يومين من الحوار الناشط والتبادل بين أعضاء شبكة معاهد ومراكز التدريب الحكوميّة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا (GIFT-MENA) والخبراء, في بيروت في تشرين الثاني 2011 بمناسبة انعقاد مؤتمرها الثالث. يلقي التقرير الضوء على أبرز المستجدات التي تساهم في تطوير عمل المعاهد التي تعنى بتدريب موظفي الدولة وتحسين نوعية البرامج التي تقدّمها, وذلك في محاولة لمواكبة الحاجات المتغيّرة التي تشهدها المنطقة.
