This workshop aimed to build capacities on surveillance of fiscal risks, with a focus on SOEs. 

Last year workshop found that surveillance of SOEs faces several challenges in Lebanon, such as weak surveillance of the Ministry of Finance and poor access to key financial data from SOEs for surveillance and decision making. 

This year's workshop :

• provided a refresher from last year’s course, 
• presentes international examples of reporting on SOEs performance, and 
• drafted a financial reporting template to report on the financial situation of key SOEs.This training on surveillance of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

It targeted the Ministry of Finance and representants from the main SOEs in Lebanon.
