At the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan, and with the guidance of the Minister of Finance, we have been working on making sure that the values of the civil service take root within the Lebanese administration despite the difficult context of the waste crisis, asserting the importance of financial compliance, fighting corruption, promoting transparency at work, and facilitating access to information. We have achieved promising results and released a number of high quality publications. We have also worked on knitting strong partnerships with State institutions and our colleagues in Arab and Mediterranean countries, as well as with regional and international partner institutions, through specialized professional networks such as the National Training Network and the GIFT-MENA network.

في معهد باسل فليحان المالي والاقتصادي، سعينا إلى تكريس قِيَم الخدمة العامة بتوجيهات من معالي وزير المالية بالرغم من أزمة النفايات المتراكمة، والتشديد على الانتظام المالي ومحاربة الفساد وشفافيّة العمل وتسهيل الوصول الى المعلومات فتجاوزت النتائج المحقّقة الاهداف الموضوعة. حقّقنا نتائج جيّدة في تسهيل الوصول إلى المعلومة، فكانت الاصدارات عالية الجودة وثابرنا على نسج علاقات تعاون قويّة مع مؤسسات الدولة وزملائنا في البلدان العربيّة ودول محيط المتوسّط وكذلك مع المؤسسات الاقليمية والدوليّة الشريكة من خلال الشبكات المهنيّة المتخصّصة كالشبكة الوطنية للتدريب وشبكة GIFT- MENA وغيرها.

À l’Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan, nous avons œuvré à consacrer les valeurs de la fonction publique, guidés par les directives de S.E. le ministre des Finances malgré un contexte difficile du majoritairement a la crise des déchets. Nous avons également mis l’accent sur la discipline financière, la lutte contre la corruption, la transparence et la facilitation de l’accès à l’information. Les résultats obtenus ont largement dépassé les objectifs fixés. La qualité des publications a été remarquable. Nous avons également tissé un solide réseau de coopération avec les institutions étatiques ainsi qu’avec nos collègues dans les pays arabes et méditerranéens, sans compter nos relations avec des institutions régionales et internationales partenaires via des réseaux professionnels spécialisés tels que le réseau national de formation, le réseau GIFT-MENA et bien d’autres.
