Dany Abboud is an industrialist and the head of the International Relations Committee at the board of the Association of Lebanese Industrialists. He is also a member in the steering committee for establishing new industrial zones, a large-scale project with international financing and a member of the Executive Board of BusinessMed,
He has recently been named vice-president of the Alliance des Patronats Francophones, which groups the employers' organisations of 31 countries on 5 continents. He is an active representative within the Euromed Industrial Cooperation Program and he leads a European-funded sectorial program for helping struggling manufacturers.
He was part of the experts’ work group in charge of drafting the new Public Procurement law.
He has a degree in engineering from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from McGill University.
