Dima Krayem works as a Senior Economist for the World Bank.
She took part in assessing the impact of the Syrian crisis in the country, and has worked on preparing a targeted emergency project to lessen its impact on levels of poverty in Lebanon.
She previosuly worked in the Office of Technical Assistance Management at the IMF in Washington DC and on a UNHCR project on Mapping the Living Conditions of Refugees in Lebanon.
She holds a Ph.D in Development Studies, Department of Politics and International Studiesfrom the University of Cambridge, a Master’s degree in International and Development Economics from Yale and a Bachelors' degree in Economics from the University of California.
