Ghassan Salamé is a Lebanese academic who serves as the Minister of Culture since February 2025. 

He previously served in the same position from 2000 to 2003. He also served as the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya from 2017 to 2020.

He was the Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) and professor of International Relations at Sciences Po.

He holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies DEA from the University of Paris, a PhD in humanities, from Paris III Sorbonne-Nouvelle University and a PhD in political sciences from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
