Giulio Bordon is Technical Officer in Social Protection for the International Labour Organization, and a labour and quantitative sociologist, from Aosta, Italy. 

Prior to joining the Beirut office, Giulio worked on the extension of social security, labor formalization strategies, and for the improvement of social protection governance and delivery for the ILO in Cambodia. 

He has also worked as academic researcher for the United Nations University – Maastricht School of Governance, and as a consultant for the ILO in Trinidad and Tobago, Thailand, and Mongolia, and for UNICEF in Montenegro.
