Iskandar Boustany is an economist and seasoned PFM expert with more than 10 years of experience in Lebanon and the MENA region. His areas of expertise cover PFM including PP, fiscal transparency, macro-fiscal analysis, state budgeting and budget reform, taxation, and others. He has been working for a while on facilitating access to fiscal data, institutional and sectoral budgets, spending reviews, and financial and programmatic M&E. 

He has managed and contributed to much research, studies, and evaluation projects that required an extensive collection and examination of qualitative and quantitative data. He is also experienced in editorial management and services.

He co-founded "Financially Wise" in 2018, an NGO who specializes in economic and financial literacy and education for citizens and in 2023 he founded his own consulting firm "Obergine Lebanon".
