Yomna Khattab is a former Deputy Minister of Finance for Fiscal Policies in Egypt from 2018 to 2020.
She has 12 years of experience working as Head of the Macro-Fiscal Policy Unit in the Egyptian Ministry of Finance and as a fiscal consultant with the Pragma Corporation (USAID projects) and the IMF regional training center (METAC) with a special focus on revenue estimation and tax policy reforms in Yemen, and on MFPU and PFM reforms in Libya.
In addition, Ms. Khattab worked closely since 2016 as a counterpart to several international organizations; most importantly IMF and World Bank leading the Egyptian Ministry of Finance Team in the Egypt three years economic and social reform program.
Ms. Khattab holds an M.A. in International Economics from Paris1- Pantheon Sorbonne University and a B.Sc. in Economics from Cairo University.
