Under the patronage and in the presence of the H.E. Ms. Haneen Sayed, Minister of Social Affairs, the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan and the Ministry of Social Affairs organized the launch of “The People’s Budget from the People's Ministry”, The Citizen Budget of the Ministry of Social Affairs with the participation of 100+ representatives of the public sector, the international community and the civil society.

This initiative is part of a budget based on a clear vision of the Ministry of Social Affairs' role and priorities in strengthening social protection, expanding access to services, and supporting the most vulnerable groups. The Citizen Budget aims to make budget information accessible to citizens in a simplified and transparent manner, enabling them to better understand how public resources are allocated and how they directly impact people's lives.

برعاية وحضور وزيرة الشؤون الاجتماعية، السيدة حنين السيد، نظّم معهد باسل فليحان المالي والاقتصادي ووزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية بحفل إطلاق "موازنة الناس من وزارة الناس"، موازنة المواطن لوزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية بحضور أكثر من 100 شخص من القطاع الخاص، والمجتمعين الدولي والمدني.

تأتي هذه المبادرة في إطار موازنة مبنية على رؤية واضحة لدور وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية، وأولوياتها في تعزيز الحماية الاجتماعية، وتوسيع الخدمات، ودعم الفئات الأكثر حاجة. وتهدف «موازنة المواطن» إلى إتاحة المعلومات المالية للمواطنين بطريقة مبسّطة وشفافة، بما يسمح لهم بفهم كيفية توزّع الإنفاق العام وأثره المباشر على حياة الناس.
