At the decision of the Ministry of Finance, the Institute of Finance Basil Fuleihan was mandated as National Focal Point for the Public Procurement reform in Lebanon which was launched in 2019 (decision 109/1 of 04/03/2019, decision 199/1 of 09/06/2020 and decision 620/1 of 02/11/2021).

In this context, this project seeks to develop the capacity of public procurement stakeholders in order to be compliant with the provisions and requirements of the Public Procurement Law 244/2021, and to contribute to the advancement of the reform process in line with the approved strategic orientations.

A series of training programs and workshops will be organized aiming at raising the skills of procurement officials in planning and preparation, tender evaluation and contract award, contract management as well as in the proper use of e-procurement.
