Youth today play a crucial role in combating corruption by advocating for greater transparency, accountability, and improved understanding of governance and public financial management (PFM).
To support this effort, a comprehensive four-module program, developed in collaboration with FIWI and with the support of UNODC, has been designed to empower young people as active citizens and foster their engagement in public life.
This program equips youth with essential knowledge, concepts, and tools to better understand PFM functions within the government. By doing so, it enables them to actively promote integrity, advocate for reforms, and contribute to the establishment of a more robust and transparent governance framework. Through this initiative, young participants are encouraged to take an active stance against corruption, to practice their citizenship, exchange perspectives and experiences with peers and experts, and driving meaningful change for a more equitable and accountable society.
