ANND and the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization and UNICEF
organized a consultation meeting on the “Review of the Government Spending on Social Protection in Lebanon (2017-2024)”.

17 civil society representatives took part in the event. 

Following a presentation of the review’s key findings and the Social Protection Spending Tracker, participants discussed the way forward, stressing the importance of recognizing social protection as a right and a national priority that protects the most vulnerable and strengthens social justice in Lebanon.

وبعد عرض أبرز نتائج المراجعة وأداة تتبّع الإنفاق على الحماية الاجتماعية، ناقش المشاركون سبل التعاون المستقبلية، مؤكدين على أهمية الحماية الاجتماعية كحق لكل مواطن وضرورة اعتبارها أولوية وطنية لحماية الأكثر ضعفاً وتعزيز العدالة الاجتماعية في لبنان
