This guidance note explores the evolution of Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP) in Lebanon and its role in promoting economic, social, and environmental sustainability through public spending. It also highlights the main operational and governance challenges, and identifies emerging opportunities created by recent reforms. The note concludes on the way forward for advancing Green and Sustainable Public Procurement in Lebanon.
